OTOF-GT vise la surdité causée par des mutations du gène codant pour l’otoferline et GJB2-GT cible la perte auditive liée à des mutations du gène GJB2, afin de potentiellement traiter d’importants segments de perte auditive chez les adultes et les enfants. La société travaille également sur l’identification de biomarqueurs afin d’améliorer le diagnostic de ces maladies peu ou mal soignées.

Le portefeuille de Sensorion comprend également des programmes de petite molécule au stade clinique pour le traitement et la prévention des troubles de l’audition.

Son portefeuille de produits en phase clinique comprend un produit de Phase 2 : le SENS-401 (Arazasetron) qui progresse dans une étude clinique de Preuve de Concept dans l’ototoxicité induite par le cisplatine (CIO), et dans une étude en partenariat avec Cochlear Limited, chez des patients devant recevoir un implant cochléaire. Une étude de Phase 2 du SENS-401 dans la perte auditive neurosensorielle soudaine (SSNHL) a également été finalisée en janvier 2022.

Sensorion’s clinical-stage portfolio includes one Phase 2 product: SENS-401 (Arazasetron) progressing in a planned Phase 2 proof of concept clinical study of SENS-401 in Cisplatin-Induced Ototoxicity (CIO) and, with partner Cochlear Limited, in a study of SENS-401 in patients scheduled for cochlear implantation. A Phase 2 study of SENS-401 was also completed in Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSNHL) in January 2022.

Votre mission

Le/la technicien(ne) de Recherche participe aux différentes phases de développement de projets de recherche et/ou de développement dans les modèles cellulaires d’étude de la biologie, de la physiopathologie, de l’étiologie et des thérapies des maladies de l’oreille interne. Il/elle sera également amené à renforcer les programmes de développement préclinique de nouveaux candidats thérapeutiques pour la thérapie génique de la surdité humaine. Il/elle réalise des études à la paillasse et des synthèses dans le cadre d’un projet de recherche selon une procédure ou un protocole défini, dans le respect des bonnes pratiques de laboratoire (BPL), des règles d’hygiène, sécurité et qualité et de confidentialité.

Activités principales

Réaliser les études précliniques définies dans les projets scientifiques et selon les plans établis ;
Mise en œuvre de modèles cellulaires liés à l’oreille interne in vitro (cultures primaires) et ex vivo (explants), mise en œuvre de modèles cellulaires sur lignées classiques ;
Evaluation de composés, réalisation de transfections and transduction de vecteurs viraux
Mise en œuvre de tests biochimiques et d’essais de biologie moléculaire in vitro et ex vivo (explants);
Réaliser des analyses d’immunohistochimie, de microscopie et d’imagerie cellulaire ;
Assurer le premier niveau d’analyse et d’interprétation des résultats d’expérience en lien avec son responsable hiérarchique ;
Contrôler la qualité des résultats des analyses scientifiques et de leur reporting ;
Renseigner les documents de suivi des expériences scientifiques ;
Rédiger ou contribuer à la rédaction des protocoles, comptes-rendus d’analyses scientifiques sous forme de méthodes, protocoles, cahiers de laboratoire, rapports, diapositives ;
Présenter des résultats des expériences au cours des réunions internes ;
Participation au fonctionnement général des plateformes du laboratoire : achats, gestion des stocks, hygiène et sécurité, implication dans le système d’assurance qualité et l’amélioration continue.

Sensorion is recruiting a Preclinical Technician on a 6-month contract basis (CDD) with possibility of a permanent contract (CDI), based in Montpellier.

Your mission

The Research Technician participates in the various phases of development of research and/or development projects in cellular models for the study of the biology, physiopathology, etiology and therapies of diseases of the inner ear. He/she will also strengthen the preclinical development programs of new therapeutic candidates for gene therapy of human deafness. He/she carries out bench-top studies and syntheses as part of a research project according to a defined procedure or protocol, in compliance with good laboratory practices (GLP), hygiene, safety and quality rules. and confidentiality.

Main Activities

Carry out the preclinical studies defined in the scientific projects and according to the established plans;
Implementation of cellular models related to the inner ear in vitro (primary cultures) and ex vivo (explants), implementation of cellular models on classic cell lines;
Evaluation of compounds, realization of transfections and transduction of viral vectors
Implementation of biochemical tests and molecular biology tests;
Perform immunohistochemistry, microscopy and cell imaging analyzes;
Ensure the first level of analysis and interpretation of the results of experience in connection with his line manager;
Control the quality of the results of scientific analyzes and their reporting;
Complete the follow-up documents for scientific experiments;
Write or contribute to the writing of protocols, reports of scientific analyzes in the form of methods, protocols, laboratory notebooks, reports, slides;
Present results of experiments during internal meetings;
Participation in the general operation of the laboratory platforms: purchasing, inventory management, health and safety, involvement in the quality assurance system and continuous improvement.

Profil

Profil
- Bac+2/+3 en biotechnologie / biologie / biochimie / virologie
- Maîtrise des techniques de biologie moléculaire (PCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR, ELISA, Clonage, Western Blot ou autres méthodes analytiques), ELISA, Western Blot (et autres méthodes analytiques) et de biologie cellulaire (Culture cellulaire et cultures primaires, Transfection cellulaire, Infection cellulaire, Histologie, Immunomarquage, Imagerie cellulaire) ;
- Expérience de la réalisation de biopsies et de micro-dissection serait un avantage pour le poste ;
- Notions de BPL et de système d’assurance qualité ;
- Autonomie, organisation et gestion du temps ;
- Rigueur, précision pour générer des résultats de qualité, leur reporting exact et dans le maintien des cahiers de laboratoire ;
- Esprit d’équipe, capacité de travailler en transverse et de s’adapter aux changements de stratégie et de planification ;
- Une excellente expression écrite en français est souhaitée ;
- Bonne communication écrite et orale en anglais.
- Une habilitation à l’expérimentation animale serait un plus.

- Professional diploma or Master in biotechnology / biology / biochemistry / virology;
- Mastery of molecular biology techniques (PCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR, ELISA, Cloning, Western Blot or other analytical methods), ELISA, Western Blot (and other analytical methods) and cell biology (Cell culture and primary cultures, Transfection cellular, cellular infection, histology, immunostaining, cellular imaging);
- Experience in performing biopsies and micro-dissection would be an advantage for the position;
